Please continue to spread the news about the Bee's Knees to your friends and family. There has been an overwhelming response to the blog and I have YOU to thank! :) You guys are the best.

I have a gorgeous 'chic' look to share with all of you today! I hope you enjoy and give it a try yourself. The best part- it's easy to do! Don't we all love that? Sometimes understated makeup can give us more room to really play up our hair & accessories. I'm going to show you 'one' example of this today:

There are a few key components needed for achieving this 'chic' look: curls, hair accessory, mascara, & bright lips (Jackie O sunglasses are a bonus ;) )! The reason I said this look is so simple is because the only thing that goes on your eye is mascara, that's it!

A good rule of thumb- if you play 'down' your eyes you can really play 'up' your lips!! Bring out those fierce colors girls! Wear hot pinks, reds, and rich purple-reds to really make a statement. The key to gorgeous-yet-simple eyes is to layer on the mascara- two coats should do it.

The hair: I used a 1 inch curling iron all over my head, curling the hair in all different directions. Then I went over the curls with a fiber-putty to give it a 'messy' look. This is great for setting the curls just how you want them too! To top it all off I added a hair accessory. Since I am rocking some short hair right now I wear ribbons, bows, and hair pins all the time! It keeps things feminine and pretty.

I love you all! Thank you for reading and I will see all of you back here on Wednesday!

Oh yes- and one more HUGE 'Congratulations' to Jessica Vegh!
