DIY Decorative Edge Manicure

This is one of the most fun nail looks I have ever created! Nail art is ridiculously hot right now and today The Bee's Knees has yet 'another' way to wear a fun & creative design.

Say hello to your new best friend, Scotch Tape. If you weren't aware of its capacity to create outstanding nail art- consider yourself learned! ;) Read on...

All you will need to create this fun look is:

1. Two pretty nail colors that contrast well 
2. Scotch tape 
3. Pinking shears - I scored mine at the dollar store. Oh yeah! 
4. Clear top coat 

That's it! This is seriously not hard at all.

DIY Decorative Edge Manicure:

The colors I chose to use: Dark Purple is Vampsterdam by OPI. Light purple is by Zoya nail colors. I received it in my February Birchbox! Top coat- Sally Hansen & Liquid Quick Dry.

Supplies. You don't necessarily need the file or cuticle pusher, just suggested. :) 

A better view of a single nail with tape on it. It's hard to see the scotch tape on the nail. Sorry about that. The nail color is pretty dark.
