An action-packed blog awaits you today so I hope you're ready for all of this! Today is going to be particularly fun as we adventure into the last part of Pastel Week- manicure style, and also learn how to create super cute fabric bows & headbands. Are you ready?
Nicely manicured nails are one of the first things I notice about someone. They just have a way of sticking out & making an impression. It only makes sense I suppose since we use our hands for everything! I have mentioned Zoya nail polishes several times here at the Bee's Knees due to the fact that I received a sample in my January Birchbox. I cannot speak highly enough of this nail polish. Wowee... It just lasts forever! You can bang your nails on anything and it still remains in tact & flawless. The polish I will be using today is from Zoya and I would recommend you pick some up- you won't regret it.
Let's get started!
Pastel Week - Part 3
Pastel Fabric Bows & Headbands
Watch & learn! Super easy and totally fun to make. Let your imagination run wild. A quick tip: You can put these adorable bows on almost anything you want!
Materials used/needed. Note: headbands not pictured.
Cute little buttons used for embellishment
Cut strips of fabric a few inches thick and tie a knot at the end.
Begin to roll, twist, & turn the fabric around the knot you created. There's no specific way to do this, just have fun and keep playing until you have created the look you want.
Finished rolling- make sure all the ends are glued down good.
Single fabric bow on headband
Creating a smaller bow. Half the original amount of fabric used
Glued onto headband
Embellished on a hair clip!
Today's finished work! :)
