Today I'm going to show you how to steal a million dollar 'look'- without breaking the bank.
Who doesn't love Audrey Hepburn, right? Her performance in 'How to Steal a Million' with Peter O'Toole is one of my new all time favorites! I just watched the movie a few weeks ago so let's just say I'm freshly-inspired.
All you need to know about the movie is this look:
Gorgeous or gorgeous? Her glittery eyes are exceptional in this scene and they are the inspiration for today's post! This look is perfect for upcoming holiday parties and boasts a promising 'wow-factor'. Without further delay, let's steal a million...
First: Begin with eye primer and a white matte eye shadow from lid to brow. (the first two images are a little blurry, sorry)
Second: Take a crease brush and make a hard line throughout the entire crease with a dark color. Black, purple, or blue are great choices.
Third: Cover entire lid with a glitter-cream eye shadow. I used Hard Candy's Eye Def glitter eye shadow in 'Robot'. Only $6!
Fourth: Apply a loose glitter over top of the cream eye shadow and pat over brow bone too!
Fifth: Line bottom lash line and extend wings.
Here's what I used to create the look:
|Victoria's Secret Smokey Eye Palette, Hard Candy's Eye Def in Robot, Wet & Wild Mega Sparkle Confetti, and Sephora's professional smokey eye brush #24 & smudge brush #11.|
Have a great evening everyone! I'll be back with you tomorrow for Fashion Inspiration Friday.
