'Skin'Credible Week, Part 2: DIY Face Mask + Toner

Welcome back to Part 2 of 'Skin'Credible Week here at The Bee's Knees! Do you all have nice & fresh scrubbed faces?? *(If not, then click here for part 1: DIY face scrubs)* Are you ready for the next phase of healthy skin? Good- stay tuned. You're going to love today's post.

As we continue to launch into nature's remedies for healthy skin, we begin to realize that 'several' luxurious beauty treatments can be found right in our home kitchens (and they're better for us too!).

Masks and toners are two excellent treatments that help 'draw out' unwanted yuckies that build up in our pores over time. For today's DIY mask, I am referring to a recipe I shared with you last year because well, it works great and it bears repeating!

DIY Moisturizing Face Mask

  • 1 Ring of Sliced Pineapple
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Tablespoon of Honey
Place all ingredients in a blender and mix until pureed. Evenly distribute a heavy layer of the mask all over the face and neck area. Let the mask sit for about 5 minutes and then rinse completely with warm water. Follow up with a rich moisturizer. That's it! Simple, simple, simple...

Ps- don't forget to eat a few rings of pineapple! Yumm.....

DIY Toner
  • 1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Water
Mix ingredients together and use daily all over face as a toner! You wouldn't believe how well apple cider vinegar works for, well- a LOT of things. But in this case, it works great as a toner. You can also splash a good amount all over the face, let it dry, and then wash it off for more of a 'mask' effect.

Are you enjoying these natural facial remedies?! I certainly hope so. There are 'soo' many variations and ways to treat your skin at home. I would recommend stocking up on small storage containers and bottles so that you're ready to store your leftover products. You can find all sorts of mini storage bottles and containers at Marshall's or TJ Max.

Ok friends, it's time to get creative and (most importantly)- have fun! :) Love you all- thanks a million for reading my many words.
