DIY Washer Necklace + A Snow Day!

Friday, February 8, 2013

Cute and simple DIY Necklace tutorial for you today!

I was 'pinspired' to try this on my own by 'Nestled' Blog.  :)

Here's what you'll need:

*Washers (any color), Metal Jewelry Clasps, and Thin Ribbon.*

Here's the method:

1.  (Notice I've already completed a few sets)- Just string the ribbon through the washers as shown on the right, just beneath my fingers.

2.  Pull the ribbon tight and then just keep stringing until you are satisfied with how the necklace is looking.

3.  Attach the metal necklace clasps to each end once you've evened out both sides.

*You can add as many washers as you'd like! Just get creative and have some fun with it.

In other news... We got some 'serious' snow here in the Mitten last night! I mean, woah. I'm talking 5-8 inches of the fluffy stuff! I got up extra early just so I could capture the serenity of the freshly fallen beauty. Take a peek!

Thanks for reading! :)
