An American Girl

Wednesday, July 24, 2013

Well, here's my 4th of July post a month late...? Ha. Not really- this wasn't intentionally 'patriotic' but it turned out that way! And I DO love America, so hey, it's always a good day to celebrate it, right? Last night was absolutely 'gorgeous' here in Michigan. Mid 70's, slight breeze, no humidity- perfection. We HAD to get out of the house and go for a walk. We decided on Curwood Castle park again. You may have seen this castle in other posts, it's kind of what Owosso is known for. And to be honest, it is pretty cool! I mean, how many people have a castle in their town? I love how unique it is, and it's in the perfect location overlooking the Shiawassee river.
Some of these photos were taken on the steps of the Shiawassee Arts Council, adjacent to the castle. I LOVE the arts council and plan on doing a post there soon.
Picture perfect isn't it? I love the stone work. And the flowers look so pretty in the summer. :) Yay summer!
I've had this collar necklace for years. I got it in Chicago at the Aldo Accessories in the Water Tower Mall. Can we just take a minute and say how much we love that mall?!?
Are you enjoying summer as much as I am?? Totally soaking it in.

Thanks for reading! Love you guys.
