So, I'm a sucker for some good Cajun food. I blame it on Ben's southern roots and his mad Louisiana culinary skills. The man makes a mean jambalaya, just sayin'. Anyway, you can imagine my level of excitement when I discovered that a Louisiana Cookhouse was opening up in my small hometown! At first I was skeptical at best, but after one visit- hooked. House smoked andouille sausage, homemade French beignets, and catfish po' boy sandwiches are just a 'few' of my favorite items on the menu. Hungry??Lula's has quickly become one of our favorite places to dine in Owosso, and if you're ever in the area, I highly encourage you to check it out. You won't be disappointed. These pictures are from our date night last Friday. One of my favorite things about our downtown area is all of the exposed brick.
I absolutely love this dress from Target. It's completely effortless to style and really lightweight, which is perfect for the summer months. I kind of look like a kaleidoscope, don't I?ombré going on, but it's kind of hard to tell in the picture.
I hope your week is going well. It's been unseasonably 'cool' here in Michigan. I'm ready for a warm up! There's no WAY I'm prepared for fall weather yet. I know what comes after fall, so I'll soak up all the sun I can get right now, thank you. ;) Have a great day friends and thanks for reading!
