There is something 'so' wonderful about lazy Sunday afternoons at my parent's farm. It's quiet, serene, and perfect. Since Ben and I live in the city, we don't get much of that. In fact, we are quite frequently awakened in the wee hours of the morning by obnoxious motorcycles or semi trucks. Ugh..
This Sunday we decided to take a little trip to the farm to capture some pictures of the ginormous corn (way taller than me) and pick some fresh produce from my parent's garden. I LOVE it when our diet is comprised of home grown fruits and veggies. We are so fortunate to benefit from their gardens and fruit trees! Seriously, their pear, peach, and apple trees are 'dripping' with fruit.
I recently purchased this cute polka dot dress at the thrift store (yay, thrifting!) and paired it with this red Ann Taylor jacket I've had for years.
My sweety picking veggies. ;)
And if you're wondering what's up with the hydrangeas, I'm just obsessed with them. They're HUGE and so beautiful. I think we might dry some out and use them for my sister's wedding. They preserve perfectly and I think they would make good accent decorations.
Ok, now here's the part where I need YOUR help!...
Would you vote for me!??
I recently made it to the top 10 in Lee & Birch's 'It Girl' contest. If you've never heard of Lee & Birch, they are an awesome clothing store in Michigan and they are about to open up an ONLINE shop! SO exciting. If I'm selected as the 'It Girl' I get the opportunity to model for the website, have my own private photo shoot, and receive a $300 gift card to Lee & Birch! Awesome, right? :) So, would you do me a huge favor and vote the heck out of this contest for me? I really need you guys to make this happen! You can vote for me once a day through Sunday. Thank you so much for your readership and support. It means so much to me. Love you guys...
