At the Park

Park 1
We are blessed to have the most beautiful little park in my hometown. Each season brings new views and unique scenery to be admired. Since the park is peppered with maple trees, fall time is especially gorgeous with burning shades of red, yellow, and orange. If you look closely (above) you will even see a cute little footbridge that connects one side of the park to the other. Ben and I come here frequently in the mornings before work to enjoy coffee and doughnuts together. It's so serene!

It's hard to believe that these pictures were taken just a week ago! Since then, all of these leaves have fallen to the ground. It's sad to see them go, but with the heavy amounts of rainfall we've had, it's no wonder they've said their goodbyes.

Layering clothing is one of my favorite things about fall and winter. This cable knit sweater is a staple in my wardrobe as it can be worn over almost anything, for real. I paired it with my polka dot mint Madewell button down and my new pink bubble necklace. Oh yes, and my leather Madewell flats! My goodness, I've been wearing these with everything. 'So' comfortable and practical. I'm glad these came home with me last shopping trip.

I hope your fall has been as gorgeous and enjoyable as ours has. As much as I've enjoyed this autumn, I am ready to welcome November and the soon coming Thanksgiving season. Ben's family will be with us this year and we're really looking forward to that. Family is such a blessing and so important to us.

I'm hoping to share some of my holiday recipes with you soon. Would you like that? I know that personally, I've found some of my favorite go-to recipes from fellow bloggers! That's one reason I love this community so, so much.

Have a great day friends!
