Saturdays are turning into 'Haturdays' for me lately. It's the perfect, lazy-gal solution when you just don't feel like fixing the mop top. Know what I mean? And here's another thing- I'm totally living in basics lately. LOVE them. I'm investing in more staple pieces that can be worn again and again and in many different ways. It just makes sense. Sometimes I look at my closet at the end of a season and I think "why the heck did I buy that?" I mean, I love trendy pieces and all, but I'm discovering that I own way too many.
In honor of celebrating basics, I picked up these black denim jeans from J. Crew outlet last month. They are SO comfortable, hold their shape, and hang just perfectly at the ankle. The best part?- I snagged them for under $20! Cha ching... I'm living in them.
*In case you were wondering- yes, it's lightly snowing in these pictures. Someday I will wear shorts again.
This week is really supposed to start warming up and I'm so ready for it! I can't wait to open my house windows and let some spring air in.
In other news- Ben and I have finally hammered out the details of our spring getaway trip! We're heading to Charleston, SC this May and I couldn't be more excited! We're planning on visiting some 'gorgeous' plantations, hitting the beach, riding in horse-drawn carriages, and eating ALL the seafood. ;) I'm even hoping to do a little shopping because, duh. I hear Charleston has some adorable boutiques. And pastry shops- ooooh the pastries! Mmm mm mmm.
Anyone from the area and have any awesome suggestions?? I'm all ears! Have a great day friends.
