Last Friday was my hometown's yearly art walk event. As I mentioned in the last post, I look forward to this every year! It's such a fun opportunity to meet new artists, hear live music, wine & dine, and appreciate local art.
Each year this event gets better and better and last Friday was no exception. One of the highlights was a free meal served up by our fabulous friends over at Lula's Louisiana Cookhouse. You might remember the post I did about Lula's a while back (here). We 'love' Lula's food and were so grateful to enjoy a free plate of smoked brisket, pulled pork, and jambalaya! Mmmm...
A good part of our evening was spent here, at our local hometown bookstore- Owosso Books & More where they were serving up free coffee and chocolate fountain goodies! Don't you just 'love' the adorable fall window displays? We're so fortunate to have an awesome bookstore in our town.
I can't seem to get away from vests lately. They are perfect for layering and getting me through this seasonal transition time known as 'September'. ;) You never know what you'll get in Michigan this time of year- 80's or 40's.
See you all back here soon!
