Last Thursday Ben and I went to our favorite cider mill to get in the fall spirit! Uncle John's Cider Mill is a mid-Michigan legend and if you've ever been there, you understand why. There's nothing like fresh, unpasteurized cider and Uncle John's does it the best! We always buy a gallon along with some assorted doughnuts. This year we also visited their wine tasting room and it was fabulous. Overall just a wonderful evening out with my boy.

The rest of the weekend was pretty relaxed. We went out for brunch on Saturday and then on Sunday we went for a long walk in a local park with Bear and then had some young adults over from our church that night for a movie and popcorn. 11 people made our house suddenly feel quite small. ;)

I'm looking forward to a short work week as this Thursday we'll be heading up north for our annual fall colors tour/family camping trip! From what I hear, it's a vibrant year for northern colors so I'm pretty excited. I love chilly mornings and camp breakfasts. There's something so sweet about the smell of fall leaves and early morning campfire smoke. I'll be sure to fill you in on the details when we get back.
