Last week Ben and I snuck away for a few hours in the evening to go to the cider mill while my sweet parents watched Winston. I always look forward to a trip (or two) each year to Uncle John's. It's one of my favorite fall things to do locally, you just have to know what time to visit or else you'll be LOST in a sea of people! We've found that a week night is the 'perfect' time to visit and still keep your sanity. ;) We didn't wait in line for anything.
If you've been following via Instagram, then you know that Ben and I were on our annual fall colors tour this past weekend with my family. We enjoyed lots of quality family time and played 'pass the baby' all weekend. ;) It was fun and challenging at times traveling with a 3 month old, but I wouldn't trade it for the world! Winston is such a trooper and did awesome in a new environment for a few days. He even got to see his first snow! Eek. Not sure how I feel about that really, but oh well. It was all melted by the middle of the day anyway. More on that in the next post.
I hope everyone is having a great week so far. I just started a new book study with some gals in my hometown and it's incredible! I've SO missed my quality girl time and I'm looking forward to learning a ton over the next 12 weeks or so. I might be sharing snippets along the way about the study. It's awesome so far!
