In the market for a new flat iron? I've got your all-in-one dream hair styler right here. Look no further, people. You'll fall in love with this flat iron the minute it hits your hair. Irresistible Me reached out to me a few weeks back asking if I'd give their straightener a whirl. Considering the fact that I was in desperate need of a new one and I had never heard of them before, I gave it a shot. The verdict- amazing. I've tried 'all' sorts of name brand straighteners over the years (Chi, ghd, NuMe) and this one holds its own. There are so many things I loved about this flat iron. Let's talk about it...
1.) Temperature display. This straightener gets hot, fast! Literally no wait time. I'm talking- 15 seconds and you're at 450 degrees. You can adjust it to however warm you want it, but I keep mine at 450. My hair styling time just got cut in half, and I'm a busy mom so, score.
2.) Diamond plated technology. The two ceramic styling plates are coated in crushed diamond & tourmaline. This helps keep the oils and moisture 'in' your hair, leaving it frizz-free and silky smooth. That may sound cheezy, but really- my hair felt SO SOFT.
3.) 360 degree swivel cord. Because no one has time for cords that don't swivel.
4.) Ridiculously lightweight. I love it. Nothing bulky or heavy about it.
I also used the diamond styler to create perfect curls. To do this, just wrap your hair around the plates (pictured below) and drag the straightener 'almost' to the ends of the hair. This takes practice, so just chill. Give yourself some time to learn. It took me a while to figure out the art of 'straightener curling'. Sounds weird, doesn't it?
I noticed this morning that this flat iron is on sale right now on the Irresistible Me website, yay! So if you're in the market, you might want to consider adding this all-in-one hot tool to your beauty arsenal. It gets my vote!
Hope you're off to a good week. I'm feeling the 'drag' this morning as Ben and I had a super busy weekend. But hey- coffee! ;) On an exciting note, we're heading into Easter, spring is here, and Ben has Friday off, so we're heading on a little shopping spree to update the ol' wardrobes. SO NEEDED. I haven't seriously shopped since before baby. Between maternity and post-baby clothes, it's just been a while! Time to get fresh, and I'm really looking forward to it.
Cheers to the week ahead-
