Cinco de Mayo is always a fun day for Ben and me. We could eat Mexican every day so we never need a reason to get down on some tacos. I wore this dress for our night out at our local Mexican joint. Winston joined us this year and he loved the beans and rice. He cracks me up, little cutie. He's so well behaved at restaurants that people usually stop by our table and make comments about his sweet disposition. We're so grateful for a happy baby. He likes people watching, like his mom. ;)
One of the best features of this dress is the open triangle back. I don't have a bra that works with it (yet) so I chose to wear a cami underneath. Still cute.
Also, I'm trying harder to work with my natural hair texture and I'm determined to find a product that I totally fall in love with for beach waves. I'll keep you updated on my progress. I mean, why go through all the pain of blowdrying and straightening if you don't have to, right?
So moms, how was your Mother's Day? Mine was great! Ben completely outdid himself and I felt so loved. All I wanted was a nap and maybe some flowers but dang- I got more than I bargained for! I can't wait to share all the details with you later this week. I'll just say this- I am so grateful for my husband and I'll 'always, always, always' remember this Mother's Day, my first one. So special.
We had a wonderful afternoon barbecue out at my parent's farm and the weather was perfect. We let Winston crawl around in the grass but he wasn't feeling it. The grass made him suspicious and he almost cried. Haha.. He loves the outdoors though, and we played for a long time with daddy.
