Idler's Riverboat

Last Sunday Ben and I got away for THREE whole days alone to celebrate our 8th anniversary! Woot. 8 Years?! Crazy. These have been the best 8 years of my life. I love that man and the adventures we share. Winston has probably been our biggest adventure yet. We love that lil' sweet potato. My awesome parents and one babysitter made our getaway possible. Yay for them!

We stayed at the cutest little Bed and Breakfast in South Haven called the Victoria Resort Bed & Breakfast. It was an awesome little place and the owner takes tons of pride in her work. She's been running the place for 20-some years and everything is taken care of meticulously. We stayed in a suite with a fireplace, jacuzzi, and more.

Our first night there we were craving something 'seafood-y' and near the water so we chose Idler's Riverboat. What a gem. It sits right on the water and the sailboats pass by SUPER close. Of course I was a nerd and waved at 'everyone' passing by like "Hi, I wish that was my boat!" So fun. I didn't take any pictures but I took these from the internet:

For dinner I wore this polkadot dress that I've had for ions along with a military vest and my chucks. Nothing says vacation like chucks, am I right?

The foliage and flowers near Idler's were just gorgeous. South Haven is such a pretty town. We hadn't visited before so it was great to explore and discover new things.

Can we just take a minute to admire this sunset? Heavens... So pretty. Nothing like watching the sun set over the water. When the clouds are airy and thin the sky really lights up with color!
I'll be back with more on our trip soon. Hope everyone's having a great week!
