It's a cool 62 degree morning here in Michigan and there's a noticeable 'fall shift' happening in the weather. It's like the switch was flipped this weekend and as if right on cue- Fall is here. I'm looking out the window at a few color-kissed treetops and it's beautiful. I can't wait for all the activities this season holds!
I spotted this cut out tunic at Birch & Elm and had to snag it! I love it! The orange and blue florals are so dreamy and perfect for fall. I adore the flirty cut out neckline and flowy bell sleeves!
It was so fun to take my new pumps out for a spin. ;) You can't go wrong with a tan pair of heels and I'm sure I'll get loads of wear out of these this fall.
House update- Our inspection on the new house went flawlessly and we were so happy to learn that it's a solid and beautiful home. It was custom built back in the 50's and we even found the original blueprints in the closet!! Crazy. Unfortunately, we received word this weekend that there's even 'more' drama surrounding our buyer's buyer (confusing, I know) and so we're working through yet another real estate bug. This has been one of the longest and hardest processes Ben and I have ever been through. So please, continue to pray for us that things pan out soon.
Other than that, we had a really nice weekend. Friday night we went out to dinner with some friends and yesterday my mom and dad took Winston for us after church and Ben and I were able to spend a good part of the day together alone. It was heavenly. We went shopping at some outlets and had a nice dinner out. I'm so grateful for that man and for our time together. He's still my favorite person to be with.
Wishing you guys a great week!
