Every girl needs a little black dress, or several. They go with everything and they're super versatile! I've had this one for a while and I've worn it to a few different events. It could be paired with a cardigan, vest, whatever!

I wore this for a 'fancy' dinner out with Ben to celebrate our anniversary in South Haven. Such a great time! We went to Su Casa based on a recommendation from Shauna, a favorite author of mine, and it was a hit! We enjoyed a wide variety of homemade Mexican cuisine. Even the taco shells were made in house! I recommend it if you're ever in the area. We ate on the back patio (obviously) and enjoyed a great view, watching ships come and go from the harbor. Here's the view:

My makeup routine has been fairly simple lately. Mascara, brows, and a little lip color. I LOVE this lip stain from E.L.F. It's called 'Nude Nectar' and it's only $1.00. Come on. You can't go wrong! It's long lasting and a really rich color.

The back of this dress is my favorite! Love the criss-cross look.

Another favorite South Haven destination that's worthy of being noted- Sherman's Dairy Bar. 100 YEARS of ice cream making perfection. Sherman's is probably the #1 quintessential destination in South Haven. It's legend. And once you taste the ice cream, you'll know why! I tried the coconut almond fudge and it was heaven.

I can't believe we're in September already. We woke up yesterday, September 1st, to a truly brisk 60 degree morning. It only got up to 73 yesterday and Winston and I made the most of the weather by taking a long bike ride together. Love him.

Ben and I are looking forward to several fun outings this month including our town's annual Art Walk, one of my favorite events of the year. We have so much talent here in Owosso. One of my friends is showcasing her photography this year and I'm excited about that.
