Palazzo pants! I'm so glad they're a thing right now. My goodness- so dang comfortable. I lived in these babies from Tobi all weekend. I love the high waist and wide legs, so flattering! I paired them with a few things I dug out of my closet- this cardigan, lacy tee, and bauble necklace from Stitch Fix. Again, one of my favorite things is mixing new pieces with items I already own!
This is the first outfit of the season that felt pretty festive to me. As in- holiday party worthy. Who else is SO excited about the upcoming holidays? I really, really love this time of year. We're a family of traditions and I SO value each one. I make Ben take me to 'all the festivities' this time of year. ;)
Our first real holiday kick-off event will probably be Silver Bells in the City in Lansing. I know there's a billion people that attend but I just love it! They have a Christmas Village shopping area and lots of hot chocolate, cookies, etc. Not to mention a light parade that's just beautiful! I can't wait until Winston is old enough to get into all of this with his crazy mother.
Then, the day after Thanksgiving, we celebrate pretty much the same thing on a smaller scale right here in Owosso. We have our own Christmas shopping village, a glow parade, Christmas tree lighting, and even local horse drawn wagon rides by Meijer! So fun.
This Wednesday I'm attending a cooking class at Le Creuset with my mom and sister! Can't wait for that. I'll post some pictures on Instagram, so follow along there. Also, Ben's birthday is this week so we'll be celebrating that too.
Wishing you all a great week! Keep us in prayer as we're 'almost' through the house-selling process and into our new home!! Yay. More updates to come.
