The Fed 9

A few weeks back, Ben and I were invited to attend the VIP opening party of The Fed Community in Clarkston, MI. My friend Sarah and her husband began this project roughly two years ago and it was so great to finally see the end product. The restaurant/lounge was transformed from an old bank into an absolutely stunning gathering place. There are private dinner 'vaults' (one is lined with velvet seating!) and hints of the original bank architecture everywhere. It's incredible. More than dining, it's an experience. They are now officially open for business and I highly recommend you plan a trip if you're in the area. My personal favorites were the brick oven pizza and the carne asada tacos. Get in my belly, now.

I wore this fun little romper from Anthropologie and stayed comfy and cool all night. I've been wearing it on repeat lately because this summer has been super hot. Not complaining one bit, but breezy clothing is a must right now. Also, anytime I can get away with no bra- it's a really good day. Wink.

I hope your summer is going great! We're enjoying every minute here. Winston just turned two years old (I can't believe it) last week and his birthday party was last weekend. He got a water table, duplo legos, and lots of dump trucks. ;) He was one happy boy. His party was a blast and we're so grateful for our dear friends who celebrate with us and love Winston so much.

Ben and I are heading to California in August and we also have a family vacation planned! Wee. Bring on the rest of summer, I'm so ready for it.

Romper: Anthropologie (HERE and on SALE)
Sandals: Steve Madden (Similar here, and I love these)
